The largest spirits and water manufacturer of the Southern Russia Mercury company celebrates the 10th anniversary of its leading brand Zvezda Ulugh Beka (The Star of Ulugh Bek). With the help of Soldis Communications Agency Mercury has executed the brand’s redesign aimed at noting the anniversary, updating the brand, outdoing the federal brands which have been recently entering the local market, and at entering new regions themselves.

The new design was to lose much of its southern character, to become more universal, but still remain recognizable. This aim was achieved through tackling the star theme introduced by the brand’s name. As Ulugh Bek, the sultan of Samarkand made up a fundamental celestial map and an observatory, the brand’s label was decorated with the star map and executed in blue and white colors. Anniversary addition was also provided with a foil constellation map and a story of Ulugh Bek’s life.
